Canadian Surrogacy Options, Canada’s First Surrogacy Company, Celebrates 25 Years Helping Couples Nurture Their Dream Of Having A Family
Toronto, ON (September 6, 2016) – Canadian Surrogacy Options Inc. (CSO), celebrates its 25th year in operations with a planned rebranding rollout in 2017. CSO has hired local boutique advertising and PR company, Solara Communications, to execute the rebrand.
“We are excited to be a part of Canadian Surrogacy Options story as it goes through its rebranding,” says Vijanti Ramlogan, President of Solara. “As Canada’s first surrogacy company and twenty-five years working closely with surrogates across Canada to give the gift of a child to couples, CSO has brought together over 2,000 families. Of course, we feel special to be sharing in that history being made. We want CSO’s rebrand to be reflective of that reputation, the history, the family connection, the knowledge and the impact it has had on the surrogacy field in Canada.” Ramlogan has over 15 years marketing experience and has worked with many small and large corporations including award-winning rebranding campaigns for some of the Greater Toronto Area’s biggest shopping centres.
Canadian Surrogacy Options Inc. started in 1992 by Joanne Wright out of Guelph, Ontario and was Canada’s first surrogate in 1988. She is a 4-time Gestational Surrogate carrier herself. After the 2nd pregnancy, Wright discovered the lack of knowledge and regulation about surrogacy amongst the professional agencies, couples in search of a surrogate and the potential carriers. “It still breaks my heart every time I do hear someone’s personal struggle with infertility,” says Wright. “Realizing the logistics of surrogacy was the inhibitor to these individuals and agencies, I decided that I wanted to help simplify the process so no couple can be deprived of the joy and life-changing experience that it is to hold a biological baby in their arms. Wright’s daughter, Robyn Price, Managing Partner of CSO continues assisting couples and surrogates to connect. “The journey to parenthood can be a difficult one for some couples. We’ve heard many heartbreaking stories over the decades,” says Price.
One common thread she hears is the despair that couples face but the light that shines on that journey is when a strong, selfless woman comes along, and whole-heartedly decides to give the gift of a child to complete strangers. Price shares, “that is the human spirit that keeps Canadian Surrogacy Options in search of these surrogate carriers.” CSO has planned several events across Canada for the rest of 2016 to spread surrogacy information and to speak directly with anyone interested in becoming a carrier, including the Calgary Baby & Tot Show and the Toronto BabyTime Show in November.
